Day3: Rabat

On day 3 you will be picked up at the hotel after breakfast and hit the road to your next destination: Rabat. Located around 330 kilometers from Marrakech, Rabat may not be the largest city in Morocco, but it is certainly the city with the greatest history, with a wealth of mausoleums, mosques, markets and palaces. Upon arrival, your driver and guide will take you to the highlights of the city, including the 44-metre-high Hassan Tower made of red sandstone. From the lookout point of the tower you can see the different districts of Rabat - from the medieval medina to the Rue de Consuls commercial street. From the French colonial style to villas in the Andalusian style to the most modern buildings, Rabat is an architectural feast for the eyes. Modern Morocco can then be found in the form of wide boulevards surrounded by swaying palm trees and chic residential areas. In fact, this new district is one of the largest and most ambitious urban projects on the African continent. After your 3.5-hour Rabat tour, explore this fascinating city on your own terms.

Day4: Meknes, Volubilis and Fez

Day 4 begins with an early start for the 275 kilometers journey to three imperial cities of Morocco. The first is the impressive royal city of Meknes. Here you will see the medina and one of the most beautiful gates in Morocco: Bab Mansour, renowned the world over for its incredible architecture. Since its original purpose was to pay homage to the sultan, great emphasis was put on the decorative details of the gate and was intensely adorned by green and white zeillij tiles and engraved Koranic panels. The next stop is Volubilis. The UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 3rd century BC, became an important outpost of the Roman Empire. Extensive remains of the beautiful buildings survive in the archaeological site, making for a mesmerising exploration. In the late afternoon you will reach Fez, the pride of Morocco and undoubtedly the liveliest of the four royal cities. Settle into your hotel after a full day of travelling and relax into your new destination.

Day5: Meknes, Volubilis and Fez

On day 5, you will be picked up from the hotel in the morning to explore Fez on a three-hour city tour, including a visit to the oldest Koran school in the world and the al-Qarawīyīn University. The complex was founded in 859 AD and consists of a mosque, a library and a university while being connected to the alleys of the medina on all four sides. The iconic green tile floors and mosaic-decorated walls offer an incomparable sight that you will never forget. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day6: Casablanca

Think of Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman when you hear the name Casablanca? The legendary film from 1942 has undoubtedly made the largest city in Morocco a household name, though few travellers will ever grace the streets of this fascinating city. Today you will drive 300 kilometers from Fez to Casablanca and see the famous city for yourself. In Casa', as the locals like to call it, you will first enjoy the sights and sounds of the 1930s Habous district or the New Medina. You can also look forward to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world accommodating an impressive 25,000 worshippers. The marble details, the wood carvings and the mosaics in the expansive building make the mosque a true highlight of Morocco. (Please note that entrance to the mosque is not included in your tour.) In the afternoon, you will continue to your hotel, where you can spend the rest of the evening as you wish!
