Enjoy the city buzz and ocean calm, in Marrakech & Essaouira inc riads/hotels, breakfast, guided walks, transfers and flights.

Oh, Marrakech ... Close your eyes and imagine the fragrances of the souk, the colours of the lively alleys of the Medina and the grandeur of the past around the impressive, historic places. You’ll start and end your journey in Marrakech, which, with its beautiful location at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, is the perfect place for exploration. Then you’ll head towards the coast to the city of Essaouira, which is rightly known as the 'Pearl of the Atlantic'. Here, you can breathe in the calmness and fresh sea air, while admiring the old city walls and soaking up the sun on the beach. You’ll have the choice of staying in hotels or traditional riads, which is a typical Moroccan 'bed and breakfast', with plenty of charm and authenticity. Breakfast, transport and a guided city walk in both cities is included on your trip. Take a journey that awakens all your senses and combines the colourful bustle of Marrakech and the tranquility of Essaouira. Are you ready to discover the wonders of Morocco?

Day1: Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, you will be met by your private driver, who will drive you into the city. Most riads in Marrakech are located in the labyrinthine streets of the Medina and are therefore not directly accessible by car. As a rule, you will be dropped off at a major main street where a representative will pick you up and follow you to your riad on foot - and you’ll already find yourself dazzled by the many different sights and sensations of the city! After checking in to your room, you can spend the rest of the day and evening however you want to. If you go out into the city, make sure you look up- there are several wonderful restaurants with the finest roof terraces, where you can enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner!

Day2: Essaouira

On day 2, after breakfast, it is time to set off for Essaouira. You will be picked up at your riad and drive down to the coast. After approx. 3 hours you’ll arrive at Essaouira and once you’ve checked in, you have the rest of the day at your disposal. Essaouira is often known as the 'Pearl of the Atlantic' and really lives up to its nickname. The city has a charming and unique appearance with its distinctive white houses, decorated with blue motifs, giving a particular character and air to the area. Don't miss a walk in the souk, visit the harbour and find out how the famous Moroccan argan oil is made. Being so close to the sea, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy some freshly caught fish and enjoy the ocean ambience.

On day 3, wake up to the fresh sea air before heading out for breakfast on the included city walk around Essaouira. During the excursion, you’ll be taken around by an English-speaking guide to see the city's highlights, including the old city walls and moat, which are an iconic part of Essaouira. The tour lasts approx. 3 hours, and after this you’re free to explore the city yourself.

Day4: Marrakech

Before traveling back to Marrakech, on day 4, you can still enjoy a little more time in beautiful Essaouira. Savour your morning coffee in the sun and take a last dip in the sea before you’re picked up in the afternoon and driven back to the big city. Don’t forget to experience the lively Djema al-Fna square in the evening one more time. As the sun sets over the city, the square transforms into an incredible collection of sounds, scents and sights, with endless food stalls, snake feeders, musicians and all kinds of incredible things to see - it's a one-of-a-kind experience and sums up the spirit of Marrakech perfectly.

Over the next 3 hours, your guide will introduce you to the city's secrets and sights while you are seduced by the constant variety of sounds and scents from the city's souk and narrow alleys. Between the enchanting jars of spices and stalls with local crafts, it's hard not to be tempted to buy something to take home, so make sure you pick up a piece of local magic! You can also book an optional excursion on day 5 to make your trip even more special. End the afternoon with a traditional sweet mint tea and soak up the last of magical Morocco to you
